Korean game developer, Netmarble has announced that their highly-anticipated action MMORPG, Raven will be released worldwide on iOS and Android later this year. Raven, originally in Korean, will get an English version as well as a new name – Evilbane: Rise of Ravens. Evilbane will be free-to-play with optional in game purchases. In addition, Netmarble has launched the Official Website of “Evilbane” where players can check out game features such as Raids, Guilds, PvP Arena, and many more.
Known as ‘Raven’ in the Korean market, Evilbane initially launched in Korea in March 2015 and within days dominated the NO.1 grossing spots on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Evilbane is now one of the fastest-growing RPGs in Korea, boasting record high 1 million DAU (Daily Active Users) and 5 million downloads.
In the game, players can choose to adventure as multiple races/classes such as a balanced Human, fast-attacking Elf assassin and offense-oriented Vango berserker. There are five game play modes including epic Scenario mode, Adventure mode with 150 stages, Raid mode where players fight with friends against a Dragon, Arena mode with 1v1 arcade matches and Guild matches where 18 players fight for the honor of their guilds. With thousands of different items and equipment to collect and smooth virtual controls, Raven delivers a console-style experience for mobile devices.
