Travian is a free-to-play medieval strategy MMO browser game. As one of the 1st and most popular classic strategy browser games, Travian features the core elements of what makes a true strategy MMO. Players must establish a Roman, Gallic or Teuton village and use skill and tactics to build their sleepy hamlet into a mighty empire. Just like its predecessor, players can play Travian for free-of-charge in a browser. The real test comes as the game progresses: establishing diplomatic contacts, reaching trade agreements and keeping your village supplied is quite a challenge.
In TRAVIAN, you are not alone; you interact with thousands of other players in the TRAVIAN world. The players in your surrounding area are most important to you. Thanks to the map, you have a good overview of who they are. There are four different types of resources in Travian: lumber, clay, iron and crop. Before you expand your village’s buildings, you should develop some resource fields to increase your resource production. After taking care of your resource production, players can start the expansion of their village. A warehouse and a granary enable players to store more resources. A cranny protects your resources from getting stolen by enemy raiders.
